    The Museum Store ~

The Museum Store is located in the Freight Station. Offered are custom made ceramic Mechanicsburg crocks, mugs and flower pots, books, Christmas ornaments and toys. Below are some of our items described in more detail...

The new 2006 Christmas Ball, "Irving College" 150th Anniversary, is now available.

Limited supply of "Our Town - Mechanicsburg" DVDs from WITF is available.

Books and Publications ~ We have several books, from the classic Miniatures of Mechanicsburg to to the more recent Postcards of Mechanicsburg (see left side).

Miniature Models ~ A local artist has created four unique miniature models of Mechanicsburg's historic buildings. The Stationmaster's House, the Frankeberger Tavern, Union Church and the Railroad Station have all been created. Not all of them are still available, however, so please give us a call first. Orders are still being accepted for the Railroad Station, the current model.

Mechanicsburg Museum T-Shirts ~ Show your pride in Mechanicsburg by wearing these t-shirts and sweatshirts that each have the Frankeberger Tavern, Station Master's House, Freight Station and Union Church on them.

Toys & Games ~ Every kid should have a railroad cap at some time or the other. And we've got some good old fashioned fun stuff here - wooden train whistles & yo-yo's, classic sets of Jacks and Marbles (+ carrying bag), along with miniature die-cast models of sewing machines and other inventions.

Children's Educational Books ~ Books like Games from Long Ago, The Kitchen, A One-Room School, Children's Clothing of the 1800's and others.

Mechanicsburg Pottery ~ We have beautiful ceramic mugs, flowerpots, crocks, plates and pitchers in gray and blue with a fine flower design on them along with "Mechanicsburg, PA."

Plus much, much more ~ If we listed everything we had in the store, there wouldn't be any surprises! So, to keep you on your toes we'll stop the list here and let you come on in the the Museum Store for yourself. Looking forward to seeing you there!
