About the event
Each tour begins at the Passenger Station (1867) and then moves to the Stationmaster’s House (1866). Folks will then walk to the Frankenberger Tavern (1801) where a light fare will be served. From the tavern, the tour continues to the Union Church (1825) where folks can sing carols to the pump organ. Then the tour continues across the street to Eckels Ice Cream Fountain (1879) for hot chocolate and cookies. The final stop is the Freight Station (1872) where everyone will enjoy the Christmas train display. This year’s theme is Let it Snow, Let it Snow! To the North Pole We Go!
While walking from building to building, folks will be led by a guide, lighting the way with a lantern. Costumed docents will greet everyone at the buildings and share a brief history.
Tickets are required for this event and can be purchased by calling the museum at 717-697-6088.
